CA Fire Chief's presents: California Fire EMS and Disaster Conference and Expo 2013! Mark your calendars for May 20-23, 2013, and plan on joining us in Palm Springs.

CFEDWest Conference & Expo is California's only "all risk" responder symposium. CFEDWest was created by emergency responders for emergency responders. Firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement, military, public health providers, nurses and Homeland Security officials have been convening annually for the past five years to network and train together. CFED offers the unique ability for attendees to choose to attend classes solely in their specialty or step outside their comfort zone and attend a class based in a field other than their own. Our multidisciplinary general sessions allow all emergency responders to train and learn together. CFEDWest is proud to host a multitude of premier speakers that impart an array of knowledge from their individual field to all of those in attendance.

A wealth of knowledge and resources await you in between classes as well.This is the perfect time to visit our vendors and learn the latest about technology, products and services offered.

Our renowned Paramedic Challenge will test the street-skills of teams of paramedics from across the region. This is an event you have to witness for yourself.

After class get ready to let your hair down and enjoy the entertainment events being planned for you. Sit beside the beautiful turquoise pool and enjoy a BBQ and live entertainment with co-workers and new acquaintances; or, maybe, warm up your singing voice and compete in Dr. Nguyen's famous karaoke contest!

CFEDWest 2013 qualifies for reimbursement from State Homeland Security Grant Program, (SHSGP), Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP), and Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS) Grant Funds.
