This year’s summit will highlight presentations from Demetrious Shaffer, CA Fire Chiefs President and Alan Long, BC, Anaheim Fire & City Councilmen, City of Murrieta.     Designated Infection Control Officer Training A California specific Designated Infection Control Officer (DICO) training is finally available! Come learn everything a DICO needs to know from regulations to the laws pertaining to post exposure follow-up. The CA Fire Chiefs EMS Section CalNEP will provide you with the tools you need for an OSHA compliant Exposure Control Plan for your agency.     Emergency Management “Putting the Puzzle Together” This all hazards emergency management preconference is designed for the hospital disaster planner, emergency manager, and public health specialist. Cal-EMA, EMSA and CDPH will be providing agency specific updates. The afternoon workshop will cover SEMS/NIMS Plans & Intel.     Paramedic Competition Paramedics from throughout the state will pair off to compete in a rigorous day of competition.
